WW2 Italian card, used between military personnel, initially posted cancelled with the ROMA FERROVIA (May 43) datestamp to at Lieutenant with 31st Tank Regiment (31 Carristi) T.N 212 (P.M) in North Africa. 

Annotated left hand side sender details (same regiment) and returned with the cachet Al MITTENTE IMPOSSIBILE L'INOLTRO. 

(n April 1943 the regiment was disbanded due to the heavy losses it had suffered in the Battle of El Guettar (Tunisia). The regiment was immediately reformed in Italy, but it saw no further action.
