WW1 postcard 'For Auld Acquaintance' used headed Feb 20th and posted home to North Lowestoft with KGV 1/2d cancelled machine (drag) wavy line XXXXX.

Under machine cancellation has the cachet 'Passed by Censor M Rickstraw Lieut RNR' (r & a in surname reversed) - this is likely to have been a temporary cachet used in the earlier months of WW1. 

Attached details from the PRO, 2nd Lt Michael Rackstraw RNS - initial service Stromness, then to HMHS China, Relief asked for, 28//5//17 to Zaria, then discharged to Granton, with further service notes to demob 16.5.19
