WW1 Royal Marines Siege Guns Leffrinckoucke CEN RMA SOR On Active Service Card
WW1 French postcard posted home to Portmouth headed ON ACTIVE SERVICE with the green cachet CEN (RMA) SOR of the Royal Marines Artillery.
Censor cachet is counter signed F.T. Connew (was Captain F.T Connew Royal Marines) of the A Group Heavy Siege Train deployed at Leffrinckhouke in France. The gun was brought into service 1917, named Jutland and remained in RMA control until handed over to the Belgium Army.
