Albert Victor Olphert of the Royal Irish Fusiliers (1887 - 1967) appears to have been a career soldier, joining the Army in 1909, landing in France with the 1st/2nd Irish Fusiliers August 1914 and at some point taken POW.
War Office list 5504 dated 2/18 reports he arrived in Holland as a transferred POW for Internment (this typically happened to wounded or sick prisoners), with a further report released POW arrived London 2/19.
