Cancelled with what appears as part Maltese Star with further s/r MALTA E OC 1 14. the Maltese straight line PASSED BY CENSOR and further 11 postman's mark.
To reverse crossed through ' I am quite well' signed J. E. Bernard 19th Sept 1914.
Lt Colonel J. E. Bernard of the RAOC would have sent this card to his Mother in Malta, he was Maltese. Given the date between writing and receipt, this was likely posted through an APO in France and not cancelled, subsequently cancelled on arrival.
