WW1 Egyptian Expeditionary Force cover posted to Edgware and then from Edgware redirected to a Sgt Major Fenn with Yeomanry Records GHQ2 3rd Echelon EEF at Alexandria. 

Forces War Records identify Sgt Major Fenn with the 1st Suffolks, reached the rank of Sgt Major before WW1 and then served with the Suffolks, surviving the war. 

To reverse, the previously unseen datestamp "3 R O 1- A- 17 ECHELON" applied in Egypt at the records office.
