WW1 postcard of Blankenberghe Belgium used to Oxford headed On Active Service and cancelled with the red P.C. cachet of the postal censor. 

Shows the orange machine LONDON F.S. PAID OCT 20 14 - asummed early mail from the BEF which had arrived in France in August, Belgium was not fully captured by the Germans until the November. The card is likely to have left a Belgium port for England and have been posted on arrival, without going through the Army Postal arrangements.
